Sejong Society Elections
The Sejong Society of Washington, D.C. will elect new board members and officers at its annual board meeting, which will be held at the following time and location:

If you believe in our mission and would like to join our leadership, we hope you will apply. All board positions are open to election, and officers will be appointed by the new board. If you are interested in joining our board and applying for any of the positions below, please email us here by Friday, July 25 and indicate 1) the position(s) you are applying for, 2) how you plan to assist us in executing our mission, and 3) why you are interested in U.S.-Korea relations and the Sejong Society. Please note that all positions are unpaid, as we are an all-volunteer organization.
We will hold elections for several leadership positions, including the following:
- President - Exercises overall leadership of the Sejong Society
- Vice President of Programs - Manages and executes each Sejong Society event
- Webmaster - Works with our website design firm to redesign and maintain our website
- Director of Communications - Directs all communication with our membership, including our event announcements and monthly newsletters on Korean affairs
- Director of Fundraising - Leads our fundraising programs
- Director of Cultural Programs - Executes our cultural events
- Director of Recruiting and Social Events - Directs our recruiting efforts and social events
- Graphic Designer - Designs our brochures, handouts, flyers, and other literature
- Secretary - Acts as the official secretary of the board of directors, with duties that include recording minutes of all meetings
- Treasurer - Acts as treasurer of the board, supervising all financial expenditures
